NAB summons Malik Riaz in Al-Qadir Trust case


ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi has issued summons to Bahria Town owner and property tycoon Malik Riaz to appear before the anti-graft body in the Al-Qadir Trust case involving £190 million.

The NAB Rawalpindi, which has record of all the land associated with Al-Qadir Trust University, has intensified its efforts to probe the alleged improprieties committed by the Bahria Town owner.

The NAB has warned that strict legal action will be taken if Malik Riaz fails to comply with the summons. The NAB has asked Malik Riaz to appear before the anti-graft authorities today, or face the consequences.

Probe has been launched into allegations surrounding Bahria Town’s involvement in the Al Qadir Trust University case. The outcome of this investigation will have far-reaching implications for both Bahria Town and its owner, Malik Riaz.
