Petrol price in Pakistan reduced by Rs5.45 per litre

ISLAMABAD: The government has reduced the price of petrol by Rs5.45 per litre for the upcoming fortnight, effective May 1.

The new price of petrol in Pakistan now stands at Rs288.49 per litre reflecting a decrease from the previous rate of Rs293.94 per litre.

The price of petrol has been reduced as per the recommendations put forth by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been reduced by Rs8.42 per litre to Rs281.96.

In the previous review, the government had increased the petrol price by Rs4.53 per litre.
