HYDERABAD: In the ongoing SRH VS PBKS clash, Sunrisers Hyderabad have made a dominant start against Punjab Kings, racing to 65 for 1 in just 4.5 overs while chasing, at a blazing run rate of 13.45.
PBKS opted to bowl first, but SRH openers came out aggressively from the outset. The highlight of the innings so far has been Abhishek Sharma, who smashed a quickfire 35 off just 13 balls before being dismissed by Lockie Ferguson, with Shreyas Iyer taking the catch.
Travis Head has continued the momentum, staying unbeaten on 27 off 12 balls, while Ishan Kishan is at the crease on 1 off 4 deliveries, looking to settle in and build the chase.
For PBKS, Ferguson has provided the only breakthrough so far, while Marco Jansen has tried to apply control but has been taken on by the SRH batters.
