Ten family members killed in house fire

LAHORE: Ten members of a family died in a fire in a house in the Bhatti Gate area of Lahore.

According to rescue officials, the dead include six children, 3 women and one man.

The deceased include Saira Bano, Farzana, Ambar, Ghazal Fatima, Adil Hussain, and 7-month-old Alamdar.

According to reports, Rescue 1122 brought the fire under control while the cooling process is on.

Rescue officials say that the fire in the house started due to a short circuit.

Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the deceased and sought a report from the commissioner on the incident and ordered a comprehensive investigation into the fire incident.
