Woman allegedly raped in Lahore Gymkhana

LAHORE: A woman was raped in Lahore Gymkhana allegedly by a “senior official” by luring her to give her a job and a house on rent.

According to the First Information Report (FIR) registered by the Race Course police, the victim U*, a resident of Lahore’s Sabzazar area, alleged that the accused MA* rode her through Bahria Town and then took her to Lahore Gymkhana where he raped her.

The victim said that she was looking for a job and the accused had promised her a job and a house on rent, as she was also seeking for a rented house.

The woman stated that she and her children were living with her step-sister but following a recent altercation with her sister, she left the house and contacted the accused for assistance.

The victim said that the accused threatened her with dire consequences if she reported the matter to anyone. She has pleaded with the police to provide her justice.
