LAHORE: A judicial magistrate has issued an arrest warrant for actress Nazish Jahangir and directed Defence C Police to arrest and present her before the court.
The case was registered on the complaint of Aswad Haroon, a resident of the Defence area. Jahangir faces charges of breach of trust, fraud, and issuing threats under relevant legal provisions.
Haroon claims that Nazish Jahangir borrowed his car and Rs 5 million for a project, promising to return them within two months. However, even after six months, she failed to do so. He further alleges that Jahangir sent a man, Sikandar Khan, who reportedly threatened to kill him.

In response, Jahangir denied the allegations, calling them a malicious attempt to blackmail her and tarnish her reputation.

According to police officials, the case was filed under fraud-related sections, with prosecution proceedings initiated against Nazish Jahangir, Sikandar Khan, and other accused.
The court has ordered the actress and other suspects to appear on March 22. The complainant has already submitted the arrest warrant to Defence C Police.
This is not Jahangir’s first legal controversy. In 2020, the FIA cybercrime wing in Karachi arrested her on charges of blackmail, harassment, and distributing fake videos and posts.
