He may have star in megahits such as “Bunty aur Bubli”, but the Bollywood left another indelible mark on the public.

He operates a quaint, cute dhaba in a small serene village in India.

Sanjay Mishra hails from the Indian state of Bihar. He later went to Varanasi for better opportunities. However, after netting a few hits under his belt, the low-key actor bought a small plot of land in a small Indian village.

There, he built a farmhouse and a small roadside eatery every desi lovingly knows as a dhaba. Who can not love the superbly brewed, inexpensive chai that flows to the heart of a broke university student while discussing the philosophies of Iqbal, Aristotle and arguing over who was the better leader since Independence.

According to sources, the quaint dhaba has become a gathering spot for both, locals and tourists to the area, as the dhaba offers an authentic taste and sense of community that has long defined the discussion spots for South Asians in the same way the famed coffee cafes defined French history for the likes of Voltaire.

The dhaba utilises organic and fresh ingredients for the food it offers, as per sources. The organic produce is reportedly acquired directly from his own farmland.

That’s not all. Sanjay Mishra has helped out the locals in the village, as well. He helped construct a local religious site in the village.
