According to reports, the pipeline has developed a new leak for the second time due to which water is being accumulated in a trench.
Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) has yet to decide whether to suspend the water supply to the city for repairs or make the necessary repairs with a continuous supply.
The pipeline supplies 2.5 billion gallons of water to the city.
