Khyber Pakhtunkhwa govt to allot free plots to families of martyrs

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced its decision to allocate free plots of land to the families of personnel martyred in the line of duty.

This decision, led by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, aims to provide economic support to the families of martyrs from the police, rescue services, and other provincial departments.

During a meeting of the Housing Department chaired by the Chief Minister, it was agreed that the heirs of the martyrs from the Pakistan Army and the Frontier Corps (FC) would also be included in this scheme. Plots will be allotted in Hangu, Nowshera, Peshawar, Swat, and Abbottabad.

CM Gandapur emphasised the importance of this initiative by stating, “The sacrifices made by the martyrs for our safe future cannot be repaid in any way.”

He also noted that the primary purpose of this initiative is to ensure the economic well-being of the families who have lost their loved ones in the line of duty.
