Pakistan Army takes strides to promote girls’ education

WEB DESK: In a commendable effort to promote education and empower the youth, the Pakistan Army has played a pivotal role in the revitalisation of the Government Girls Primary School in Kotkai, South Waziristan.

Following the establishment of peace in the region, the Pakistan Army has promptly embarked on a mission to restore and invigorate existing educational institutions. Notably, the Government Girls Primary School in Kotkai, South Waziristan, has undergone a remarkable transformation through the collaborative efforts of the military.

The revitalised school has been equipped with essential facilities, ensuring that young talents in the area can pursue their education without hindrance. Currently, the school accommodates 90 students under the guidance of dedicated educators and is well-furnished with vital learning resources.

In a heartfelt gesture aimed at boosting the morale of these young girls, the Pakistan Army has also distributed free textbooks, school bags, and stationery, underscoring their commitment to empowering the region’s youth.

The restoration and reactivation of this school, with a special focus on girls’ education and community development, have earned profound appreciation from the local population.
