PIA among ‘happiest’ workplaces in Pakistan for 2025

ISLAMABAD: Nestle, Unilever, and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) have been featured among the happiest workplaces in Pakistan for 2025, according to a list published by WorkL, an employee experience platform.

WorkL ranks organisations based on employee engagement and workplace happiness. Bank Alfalah, Pakistan Super League (PSL), the University of Karachi, Pakistan State Oil, Alltech, HBL Bank, Meezan Bank, Pakistan Petroleum, Jadeed, and Factory X are also among the happiest workplaces.

Globally, South Africa’s DiFusion Technologies secured the top spot with a 100 per cent happiness score, followed by The Pavilion Shopping Centre at second and US-based Avis Budget Group at third.

Action initiated against officers issuing Pakistani passports to foreigners

The awards saw entries from over 100,000 organisations worldwide, with more than a million employees taking part in the Happy at Work Test to qualify their companies.

This anonymous test evaluated several factors, including well-being, job satisfaction, reward and recognition, information sharing, empowerment, and instilling pride. Organisations scoring 70 or higher were included in the final rankings.
