Rain brings much needed respite for Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: As per the predictions of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the capital city witnessed light drizzling this afternoon.

Hot and humid weather expected across country with scattered thundershowers

Despite the rain being brief and the temperatures remaining high, the downpour brought much-needed relief from the oppressive heat that had gripped the city throughout the day.

Weather forecasts indicate that this respite might continue, with expectations of further rain through to July 20. The Punjab region, in particular, is anticipated to receive notable rainfall during this period.
