Three dead in car-truck collision on M2 motorway

LAHORE: At least three people died and several others were injured in a head-on collision between a car and truck on M2- Lahore – Islamabad Motorway.

According to National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP), the accident occurred near Sukhekhi as the driver fell asleep.

NHMP spokersperson said the deceased were from Lahore.

The injured have been shifted to nearby hospital.

In another accident on M2, 5 people were injured as a passenger bus overturned near Chakri interchange.

According to an eye-witness account, the accident occurred due to driver falling asleep.
