ISLAMABAD: In a major political development, a trio of pivotal figures from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are gearing up to join the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) led by Jahangir Tareen and Aleem Khan
Credible sources told HUM News English that one former PTI MNA and two MPs from Punjab’s Lahore division will join the IPP in the next 48 to 72 hours.
According to the sources, the two MPs also held ministerial portfolios when the PTI was in power in Punjab.
Insiders familiar with the matter have disclosed that thorough deliberations and consultations have transpired between the three PTI leaders and the leadership of IPP, which includes Jahangir Tareen and Aleem Khan.
These discussions have reportedly delved into matters of shared goals, ideologies, and strategic approaches.
Moreover, sources have emphasised that each of the three PTI leaders boasts a distinct and significant voter base within their respective constituencies.
This factor is poised to bolster the IPP’s drive for expanded influence and public support.
As the anticipated transition of these PTI leaders to the IPP takes shape, it ushers in a renewed chapter within Pakistan’s political arena.
