WEB DESK: The persistent heavy rainfall in Bengaluru finally ceased, allowing the resumption of the ongoing match between Pakistan and New Zealand.
As per the latest update, the allotted overs were adjusted due to the rain interruption. The contest between Pakistan and New Zealand has been curtailed to 41 overs.
Pakistan now faces a challenging target of 342 runs within these limited overs. Currently, Pakistan needs 182 runs to win from 19.3 overs.
Following the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method, Pakistan is leading by 10 runs.
Fakhar Zaman is holding his ground at the crease with an impressive score of 106 runs, while Babar Azam remains unbeaten at 47 runs.
The World Cup match will resume at 5:50 pm.
