Pakistan announces squad for ICC Women’s World Cup qualifier

WEB DESK: Pakistan has announced its 15-member squad for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup qualifier which would be led by Fatima Sana. The tournament will be hosted by Pakistan.
Muneeba Ali has been declared as the vice-captain while opener Shawal Zulfiqar will be marking her return to international cricket after 16 months for the event, which is set to take place in Lahore from April 9 to April 19.
Pakistan defeat Samoa before exiting ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup
The squad includes Diana Baig, Gul Feroza, Nashra Sandhu, Najiha Alvi, and others, while Ghulam Fatima, Waheeda Akhter, and Um-e-Hani have been named as reserves.
Other teams participating include West Indies, Bangladesh, Scotland, Ireland, and Thailand.
