LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Executive Faisal Hasnain and Director Media Sami-ul-Hasan have been removed from their posts.
The changes were made with immediate effect on the directives of board’s interim Management Committee chairman Zaka Ashraf.
Faisal, hired as chief executive last year during Ramiz Raja’s tenure as chairman was axed as the said position does not exist following restoration of PCB’s 2014 constitution.
Faisal continued to enjoy clout even under former interim Management Committee chairman Najam Sethi, who replaced Ramiz in January this year.
Meanwhile, Hasan has been reassigned to Special Projects department.
Raza Kitchlew, a senior official of media department would replace Sami on interim basis.
