Inflation may decline to 12.5 per cent by June 2024

Inflation is projected to remain between 13.5 per cent and 14.5 per cent in May 2024, with a potential decrease to 12.5 per cent to 13.5 per cent by June 2024, according to the Finance Ministry’s latest economic report.

Pakistan’s CPI inflation expected to ease in early 2024

In its monthly economic report released on Wednesday, the Finance Ministry disclosed that consumer price index (CPI) inflation in Pakistan is projected to hover between 27.5-28.5 per cent in December 2023.
