US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, in a tweet on Thursday, welcomed the approval of International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) loan programme for Pakistan.
He stated, “We stand by the Pakistani people during these hard times and welcome the International Monetary Fund’s approval of a program to support Pakistan.”
Blinken expressed his desire for Pakistan to continue working with the IMF for sustainable economic recovery.
