Please Please Please ascended the music chart to the top at a quick pace. In a somewhat funny twist, she displaced her other song “Espresso” from the number one spot.

Espresso was dominating the UK Singles chart for five weeks back to back. Carpenter’s feat establishes her as the youngest female artist to concurrently hold the top two positions on the UK singles chart with two songs in a single week.

The former Disney star’s songs have captured considerable attention in the UK. “Please Please Please” currently holds the title of the most streamed song in the UK, amassing 9.8 million combined streams. Similarly, “Espresso” has garnered over 8.1 million streams.

The blonde beauty has long awaited her success, drawing comparisons to fellow Disney star Olivia Rodrigo. She has silenced her critics now, who once labeled her a “failed experiment” compared to the more successful Rodrigo.

Her rise to fame began with the Espresso as the song thrust her into the mainstream with global audiences and paving the way for more chart-topping tracks.

With Please Please Please and Espresso, Sabrina Carpenter has ascended to the same league as Taylor Swift. She is now competing with the fellow blonde US singer for chart dominance.

Taylor Swift continues to lead the albums chart with “The Tortured Poets Department”. The billionaire is enjoying a seventh non-consecutive week at number one on music charts.
