LAHORE: Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the upgraded Safari Zoo Park in Lahore on Saturday.
The project, completed in record time, aims to elevate the park into a world-class attraction, drawing inspiration from the renowned Singapore Safari Park.
During the inauguration, Mohsin Naqvi, accompanied by provincial ministers, spent approximately eight hours exploring Safari Park.
Notably, the Chief Minister personally purchased tickets for himself, the provincial ministers, and officials. His compassion extended to the children from SOS Village, who also attended the event at Safari Park.
The Chief Minister’s visit included a special tour of the Lion and Leopard Safari in a dedicated vehicle. He actively directed further improvements to enhance the safari experience and observed lions freely roaming in their open environment from the comfort of his car.
In addition to the Lion and Leopard Safari, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi explored other attractions within Safari Park.
He engaged in the Hologram Zoo experience, wearing special glasses to interact with virtual animals.
During this visit, he even petted a panda through the Hologram Zoo, expressing keen interest in this innovative feature.
The upgraded Safari Park promises an exciting experience for visitors, seamlessly blending natural beauty with cutting-edge technology.
This development stands as a testament to Punjab’s commitment to providing its citizens with recreational facilities of international standards.
