Sufiyan Mehsud from Waziristan sets new Guinness world record

ISLAMABAD: Five-year-old martial artist from Waziristan, Sufiyan Mehsud, achieved a new Guinness World Record, surpassing a previous mark held by an Indian boy.

Sufiyan Mehsud bested the record for the “Fastest Time to Climb Around a Person,” which was previously set by MV Arjun Priyan of India at 9.78 seconds.

Sufiyan accomplished the climb in just 7.87 seconds.

The “Koala Challenge,” as it is commonly known, gained significant attention during the covid-19 pandemic. The challenge requires participants to climb around a person with high speed and agility.

Sufiyan’s new record makes him the youngest person from Pakistan to hold a Guinness World Record.

His father, Irfan Mehsud, is also faniys for his achievements, having set 100 Guinness World Records on behalf of Pakistan.
