Bashir Memon takes helm as PML-N Sindh president

LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has announced Bashir Memon as the new President of its Sindh chapter. A formal notification confirming his appointment has been issued.

Bashir Memon, a former Director General (DG) of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), officially joined the ranks of PML-N in September of this year.

Notably, he played a key role as the convener of the party’s Sindh “Welcome Reception Committee,” which was responsible for coordinating arrangements for the homecoming of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif.

In addition to Bashir Memon’s appointment, Shah Mohammad Shah has been designated as the Vice President of PML-N’s Sindh chapter.

These developments signify significant changes within the party’s leadership in Sindh.
