PMD predicts hot, dry weather across Pakistan; chance of showers in GB

WEB DESK: Monday’s weather forecast by Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) suggests hot and dry conditions prevailing across most regions of the country. However, in Gilgit-Baltistan, there may be a mixture of clouds and a chance of thundershowers in some areas.

In Islamabad and Punjab, expect predominantly hot and dry weather with the exception of places like Murree and Galyiat where conditions will remain dry. Daytime temperatures are expected to gradually increase in the plains.

Across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the weather will be mostly dry, with the southern districts experiencing particularly hot conditions.

Similarly, in Sindh and Balochistan, hot and dry weather is anticipated, with temperatures gradually rising, especially in the southern districts.

In Kashmir, the weather will remain dry, while in Gilgit-Baltistan, along with partly cloudy skies, there’s a chance of light rain with thundershowers at a few locations.
